THE MISSION OF THE CEDAR VALLEY ARBORETUM & BOTANIC GARDENS IS TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS THROUGH HORTICULTURE. WE SEEK TO ENRICH LIFE BY NOURISHING AND SHARING THE BEAUTY OF THE NATURAL WORLD, THE JOY OF GARDENING, KNOWLEDGE OF PLANTS, AND THE DIVERSITY OF OUR WORLD.

THE PURPOSE OF GARDEN OPERATIONS IS TO MAINTAIN AND DEVELOP A VARIETY OF GARDENS AND LANDSCAPES SUITABLE FOR A PUBLIC GARDEN.


THE PURPOSE OF SPECIAL EVENTS IS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE LARGER CEDAR VALLEY COMMUNITY TO ENJOY OUT OF DOORS ACTIVITIES IN A PUBLIC GARDEN SETTING.


THE PURPOSE OF EDUCATION IS TO PROVIDE CLASSES, ACTIVITIES AND EXPERIENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES TO LEARN ABOUT NATURE AND HORTICULTURAL SUBJECTS.
