PUBLIC POLICY WEBSTER COUNTY FARM BUREAU BOARD OF DIRECTORS MET WITH THE WEBSTER COUNTY SUPERVISORS, COUNTY ENGINEER AND AUDITOR TO REVIEW THE 2021-2022 BUDGET AND LOBBY FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR COUNTY RURAL ROADS/BRIDGES. THE COUNTY BOARD OF DIRECTORS ALSO LOBBIED OUR STATE LEGISLATORS SEVERAL TIMES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR AT A LOCAL TOWN HALL MEETING AND VIA TELECONFERENCES ON SUCH ISSUES AS ALLOWING STUDENTS AT AGE 14.5 WITH DRIVERS PERMITS TO DRIVE A PASSENGER VEHICLE FOR FARM WORK, THAT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES SHOULD BE ENTIRELY FUNDED BY THE STATE OF IOWA AND TO ESTABLISH A E10 ETHANOL STANDARD IN THE STATE OF IOWA WITH UNIFORM DISPENSING PUMPS WITH COLORS/LABELS TO INCREASE THE SALE OF ETHANOL. THE WEBSTER COUNTY FARM BUREAU ALSO INVITED OVER 2000 MEMBERS TO ATTEND THE WEBSTER COUNTY ANNUAL MEETING AT THE OPRY HOUSE IN FORT DODGE. THE MEMBERS WERE THEN GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO ELECT THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND REVIEW THE 2020
