UNALLOCATED EXPENSES INCLUDING EMPLOYEE COSTS, OTHER PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES: SDFB SERVES 40 UNITS OF INDIVIDUAL OR COMBINED COUNTIES. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR THE COUNTY UNITS IN WORK WITH LOCAL, STATE, AND NATIONAL AGENCIES ON ISSUES RELATING TO AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION. THIS INCLUDES REGULATORY REVIEW AND COMPLIANCE, CARRYING OUT SDFB POLICY, OBJECTIVES AND CONFLICT RESOLUTION. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO CARRY OUT GRASS ROOT POLICIES AT THE STATE LEGISLATURE. THE ORGANIZATION KEEPS MEMBERSHIP INFORMED ON LEGISLATIVE ISSUES THAT WOULD HAVE AN EFFECT ON RURAL SOUTH DAKOTA.
