THE MISSION AND PURPOSE OF THE WYOMING WOOL GROWERS ASSOCIATION (WWGA) IS TO ADVANCE THE INTERESTS OF THE WOOL PRODUCING AND SHEEP GROWING INDUSTRY; TO BRING ABOUT THE BETTERMENT OF THE CONDITIONS OF THOSE ENGAGED IN THE LIVESTOCK INDUSTRY, INCLUDING THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE GRADE OF THEIR PRODUCTS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF A HIGHER DEGREE OF EFFICIENCY IN THE INDUSTRY, THE CULTIVATION AND PROMOTION OF COOPERATION AMONG ALL PERSONS WITHIN THE STATE OF WYOMING, ENGAGED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY IN THE WOOL GROWING AND SHEEP PRODUCING INDUSTRY, AND IN GENERAL TO DO ANY AND ALL THINGS THAT FURTHER THE MISSION AND PURPOSES OF THE WWGA FOR THE MUTUAL PROTECTION AND BENEFIT OF THE SHEEP AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCING COMMUNITY.

IDENTIFY, DEVELOP, AND SECURE OPTIMUM MARKETS FOR SHEEP AND OTHER LIVESTOCK AND THEIR PRODUCTS. PROMOTE AND IMPROVE MARKETING OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIVESTOCK THROUGH AN ANNUAL EVENTS, SUCH AS A RAM SALE AND RAM TEST.
OFFER WYOMING YOUTH AND LIVESTOCK PRODUCERS EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE FLOCK PRODUCTION AND LEARN NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN THE INDUSTRY. EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE HISTORY OF THE SHEEP INDUSTRY IN WYOMING AS WELL AS THE VALUE ADD PRODUCTS PRODUCED FROM SHEEP AND OTHER LIVESTOCK, SUCH AS WOOL PRODUCTS, LAMB, AND OTHER USES.
OFFER SPECIAL PROJECTS AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COOPERATIVE PROJECTS WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE NATURAL RESOURCES AND THE COLLEGAITE WOOL GROWERS ASSOCIATION, STATE AND FEDERAL AGENCIES SUCH AS THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE, AMERICAN SHEEP INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, AND THE WYOMING WOOL GROWERS AUXILIARY PROGRAMMING.
