THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF NORTHWEST SHOE TRAVELERS IS TO FOSTER THE INTERESTS OF ITS MEMBERS, TO ASCERTAIN, PROTECT AND DEFEND ITS MEMBER'S RIGHTS IN THE PURSUIT OF THEIR COMMON OCCUPATION: TO BRING ALL SHOE SALESMEN INTO A CLOSER RELATIONSHIP; TO COOPERATE WITH KINDRED ASSOCIATIONS IN PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF ALL COMMERCIAL TRAVELERS; TO PROMOTE THE GOODWILL OF RETAIL SHOE MERCHANTS WITH THE MEMBERS OF THIS CORPORATION AND MANUFACTURERS, WHOLESALERS AND SHOE IMPORTERS AND ANY AND ALL OTHER LAWFUL PURPOSES NOT INCONSISTENT WITH CHAPTER 317, MINNESOTA STATUTES 1971, AS AMENDED.
