THE MINNESOTA TRUCKING ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO ADVANCE A SAFE AND SUCCESSFUL MINNESOTA TRUCKING INDUSTRY THROUGH ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND FOCUSED INITIATIVES.

CONFERENCES & SEMINARS - CONSISTS OF A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WHICH PROVIDE TIMELY AND VALUABLE INFORMATION TO MTA MEMBERS (AND NON-MEMBERS). SOME EXAMPLES INCLUDE: ANNUAL VEHICLE INSPECTION CERTIFICATION AND RE-CERTIFICATION CLASSES, A ONE-DAY SAFETY CONFERENCE, A DRIVER OF THE YEAR BANQUET, A ONE-DAY TRUCKING MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE, THE NEXTLEADER LEADERSHIP TRAINING PROGRAM, AND A NORTH AMERICAN TRANSPORTATION MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE SAFETY TRAINING COURSE.


ANNUAL CONFERENCE - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES MTA MEMBERS WITH AN OPPORTUNITY FOR IN-DEPTH LEARNING EXPERIENCES, SAFETY AWARDS, AN ANNUAL MEETING, AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK WITH OTHER MEMBERS. 2021'S EVENT, "TIME TO RECONNECT!", INCLUDED THE SEMINARS: "DEMOGRAPHICS PRECIPITATES ECONOMICS: STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR THE POST-PANDEMIC ERA," "THE FUTURE OF TRUCKING", "CEO ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS," "IMPLEMENTING A DRIVER SALARY COMPENSATION MODEL, AND "SCORECARD DECISION MAKING."


PRODUCT SALES - THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SAFETY, COMPLIANCE AND EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AT A DISCOUNT OFF RETAIL FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. SOME EXAMPLES INCLUDE: LOG AND INSPECTION BOOKS; FORMS FOR MEDICAL TESTS; DRIVER QUALIFICATION FILES; LOAD SECUREMENT MANUALS FMCSR HANDBOOKS, HAZMAT COMPLIANCE BOOKS AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE GUIDEBOOKS.
