COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT: FUNDED AND SUPERVISED COMMUNITY GRANTS AND MICROFINANCE PROJECTS TO STIMULATE BUSINESSES; PROVIDED MEDICAL CARE AT WORLD WIDE VILLAGE MEDICAL CLINIC STAFFED WITH HAITIAN PROVIDERS; EXPANDED WATER DISTRIBUTION; EXPANDED COMMUNITY GOAT HERD AND FAMILY GOAT DISTRIBUTION; TRAINED AGRICULTURAL PROCESSES; CONTINUED CHICKEN PRODUCTION; BUILT OR REPAIRED HOMES FOR FAMILIES IN WILLIAMSON.
EDUCATION: SUPPORTED FIVE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS IN LULY, WILLIAMSON AND THE RURAL MOUNTAIN AREAS BY FUNDING TEACHERS AND STAFF AND PROVIDING DAILY MEALS, HEALTH CHECK UPS AND SUPPLIES. PROVIDED BOOKS AND TEACHING MATERIALS. FACILITATED TEACHER TRAINING FOR SUPPORTED SCHOOLS AS WELL AS COMMUNITY SCHOOLS. THERE ARE CURRENTLY OVER 1545 STUDENTS ATTENDING FIVE SCHOOLS AND 81 TEACHERS AND STAFF ARE EMPLOYED IN THE FIVE LOCATIONS. PROVIDED POST-SECONDARY FUNDING FOR SELECT STUDENTS GRADUATING FROM OUR PROGRAMS.
COMMUNITY IMPACT: FACILITATED PASTORAL TRAININGS FOR HAITIAN PASTORS AND KEY LAY LEADERS; FUNDED YOUTH SOCCER TOURNAMENT; SUPPORTED MISSIONARIES ON THE FIELD.
