THE NOKOMIS HEALTHY SENIORS IS A NON-PROFIT DEDICATED TO HELPING SENIORS LIVE INDEPENDENTLY AT HOME.

IN 2022 WE RETURNED TO IN PERSON SERVICES. OUR CLIENT NUMBERS STARTED OUT SLOWLY, BUT WE HAVE RETURNED TO PRE- PANDEMIC NUMBERS FOR CLIENTS SERVED. WE HAVE MANY NEW CLIENTS, OFTEN THOSE WHO RETIRED DURING THE PANDEMIC. WE HAVE INCREASED THE NUMBER OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WE PROVIDE, DUE TO THE DEMAND. ISOLATION WAS TOUGH FOR ALMOST ALL OF OUR CLIENTS DURING THE PANDEMIC AND HAVE BEEN VERY EAGER TO REBUILD COMMUNITY AND CONNECTIONS.
