MAINTAIN FUNDS TO PROVIDE PENSION, DISABILITY, AND DEATH BENEFITS TO ELIGIBLE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE MEMBERS ARE MCGRATH MN FIRE DEPT. VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS. 2 FIREFIGHTER RECEIVED ACCRUED BENEFITS IN 2021; THERE ARE 14 ACTIVE AND 4 INACTIVE FIREFIGHTERS FOR WHOM PENSION BENEFITS ARE BEING MAINTAINED UNTIL THEY MEET RETIREMENT REQUIREMENTS. CURRENTLY FUNDS ARE INVESTED IN SAVINGS, CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT, AND WITH THE MN STATE BOARD OF INVESTMENT.


RAISED FUNDS IN SUPPORT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENTITIES, SCHOOLS, LOCAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES AND NEEDY INDIVIDUALS BY SELLING PULL-TABS UNDER STATE OF MINNESOTA LICENSE AT 2 LICENSED SITES. RESULTS FROM THIS OPERATION ARE REPORTED ON PART VIII LINE 9 AND PART IX, LINES 1-5. (DOUBLE REPORTING OF GRANTS AND WAGES IS REVERSED BY PART IX, LINE 24 ENTRY.)
