DUE TO COVID19 AND CONCERNS OF THE CITY OF RICHFIELD NO CELEBRATION WAS HELD IN 2022. THE ANNUAL 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION IS A 3 DAY EVENT THAT CONSISTS OF FAMILY NIGHT THAT ATTRACTS OVER 3,000 PEOPLE ON THE FIRST DAY. A CAR SHOW VENDOR FAIR SILENT AUCTION AND STREET DANCE ATTRACTS OVER 4,000 PEOPLE ON THE SECOND DAY. A 20 MINUTE FIREWORKS DISPLAY AND PARADE LASTING OVER A HOUR WITH NUMEROUS FLOATS A GRAND MARSHAL BANDS AND OTHER UNITS ATTRACT OVER 10,000 PEOPLE THROUGHOUT THE THIRD DAY. PEOPLE COME FROM NOT ONLY THE CITY OF RICHFIELD BUT THROUGHOUT MINNEAPOLIS ST. PAUL AND THE SURROUNDING AREA.
