APPOINTS AND TRAINS STATE HUMANE AGENTS WHO INVESTIGATE ALLIGATIONS AND REPORTS OF ANIMAL ABUSE, CRUELTY, AND NEGLECT IN THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AND ASSIST LAWFULLY EMPOWERED OFFICIALS IN THE ENFORCEMENT OF THE LAWS FOR THE PREVENTION OF WRONGS TO ANIMALS.

TRAINING & EDUCATION = APPOINT NEW AND RE-APPOINT VOLUNTEER STATE HUMANE AGENTS; PROVIDED ONLINE TRAINING WORKSHOPS FOR NEW AND CURRENT VOLUNTEER STATE HUMANE AGENTS; UPDATED WEBSITE TO PROVIDE RESOURCES TO LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON MINNESOTA'S ANIMAL WELFARE STATUES


INVESTIGATIONS = THE ORGANIZATION RECEIVES DAILY OVER 20 PHONE CALL AND EMAIL COMPLAINTS OF INCIDENTS OF ANIMAL NEGLECT, ABUSE, OR CRUELTY THROUGHOUT ALL 87 COUNTIES IN MINNESOTA. APPROXIMATELY TEN (10) CASES PER WEEK ARE OPENED FOR INVESTIGATION BY STATE HUMANE AGENTS. THE ORGANIZATION FOCUSED ON DEVELOPING A SYSTEM TO PROVIDE COVERAGE TO THE HIGH NEED BUT UNDERREPRESENTED PARTS OF THE STATE AND A COMMUNICATIONS MODEL TO IMPROVE REPORTING OF CASE OUTCOMES.


ADMINISTRATION = USE OF INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS TO REBUILD THE ORGANIZATION'S CASE RECORDS DATABASE, UPDATE THE WEBSITE, AND OUTREACH VIA SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS. ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM ALSO CREATED RESOURCE LISTS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT CONTACTS AND ANIMAL RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS.
