HOSPICE OF MURRAY COUNTY IS A FREE STANDING, COMMUNITY BASED ORGANIZATION. HOSPICE OF MURRAY COUNTY IS DEVOTED TO PROVIDING HOSPICE SERVICES TO PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH COMFORT, COMPASSION AND DIGNITY.

COUNTY-WIDE CARE OF CLIENTS THAT NEED HOSPICE CARE IN THEIR HOME, NURSING HOME, OR OUR RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR A COMFORTABLE DEATH. $18,365 IN CHARITABLE SERVICES WAS PROVIDED TO CLIENTS WHO WERE UNABLE TO PAY, OR AT A REDUCED RATE, BY THEMSELVES AND DID NOT HAVE THIRD-PARTY PAYERS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR CHARGES. SERVED 78 INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES DURING THIS FISCAL YEAR, WITH 5,069 UNDUPLICATED DAYS OF CARE PROVIDED. SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE 24 HOUR CARE FOR THE TERMINALLY ILL. BEREAVEMENT, DIETARY, SPIRITUAL, AND OTHER COUNSELING SERVICES ARE ALSO PROVIDED.
