PROVIDE AN ENVIRONMENT WHICH ENHANCES SOCIAL AND AQUATIC EXPERIENCES FOR ITS 200+ MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS AND FAMILIES AT CLUBHOUSE AND 2 BEACHES.
ASSISTING OUR MEMBERSHIP IS THE EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF THEIR AQUATIC EXPERIENCE. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH MEMBER ORIENTATION IN WHICH NEW MEMBERS ARE INSTRUCTED IN THE APPROPRIATE METHODS OF USING THE BEACHES WITH THEIR VESSELS, WATER SAFETY PROVIDING CONTACT WITH EXPERIENCED EXISTING MEMBERS. THESE EDUCATIONAL ORIENTATIONS ARE HELD AT THE CLUBHOUSE AND ARE OFFERED DURING THE BOATING SEASON. IN ADDITION WE PROVIDE BOATING EDUCATION ON NAVIGATION AND BOAT OPERATION TO OUR MEMBERS.
PROMOTING GOOD STEWARDSHIP OF OUR RIVERS AND COMMUNITY BY WORKING WITH THE DNR, LOCAL SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENTS AND THE LOCAL FOOD SHELF. WE ALSO PUBLISH A NEWSLETTER 3 TIMES A YEAR THAT INCLUDES ARTICLES PERTINENT TO OUR MEMBERS FOR BOTH SOCIAL AND BOATING EDUCATION. THIS INCLUDES ARTICLES BY OUR SAFETY OFFICER, BEACH CAPTAINS, COMMODORE, BRIDGE, AND OTHER EXPERIENCED MEMBERS.
