HEALTH POLICY IS FOCUSED ON RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, AND POLICY DESIGN IN THE AREA OF INFORMED CONSUMER CHOICE AS IT IS APPLIED TO HEALTH CARE. THIS POLICY AREA WORKS TO ASSIST POLICY LEADERS TO MEET CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES NOW FACING OUR NATION'S HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
EDUCATION POLICY IS FOCUSED ON RESEARCH, ANALYSIS, AND POLICY DESIGN AS IT IS APPLIED TO K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS. THIS POLICY AREA WORKS TO ASSIST POLICY LEADERS TO MEET THE CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES NOW FACING OUR NATIONS'S HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.
EPFP - THE MINNESOTA EDUCATION POLICY FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM IS A JOINT VENTURE OF THE CENTER FOR POLICY DESIGN AND THE WASHINGTON DC BASED INSTITUTE OF EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP (IEL). THE PARTNERSHIP HAS THE PRIMARY FOCUS OF LARGE SYSTEM STATE AND FEDERAL POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND THE LEADERSHIP THAT IS NECESSARY TO INFLUENCE POLICY DEVELOPMENT.
REDESIGN - WHEN CREATIVE PUBLIC POLICY APPROACHES ARE SOUGHT, A FOCUS ON "DESIGN" IS A MORE USEFUL APPROACH THAN RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS. CREATIVE PROBLEM SOLVING REQUIRES A THOROUGH CHALLENGE OF THE EXISTING ASSUMPTONS AND AN OPEN PROCESS FOR DESIGNING NEW SOLUTIONS. DOCUMENTARY - THE CENTER FOR POLICY DESIGN EFFORTS IN LARGE SYSTEM REDESIGN ARE BROUGHT TO LIFE BY SOUTH HILL FILMS. SOUTH HILL FILMS IS THE DOCUMENTARY PRODUCTION ORGANIZATION THAT FOCUSES ON THE HISTORICAL ANALYSIS OF LARGE SYSTEM POLICY DESIGN AND SOCIAL CHANGE.
