THE ORGANIZATION HOLDS A MAJOR SUMMER CONVENTION AND A SMALL MID WINTER CONVENTION. THESE EVENTS PROMOTE THE ART AND ARTISTIC VALUE OF HAND MADE POTTERY. THE CONVENTIONS INCLUDE DISPLAYS AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS ALONG WITH SOCIAL MEETINGS. THE SUMMER CONVENTION ALSO INCLUDES AN OPPORTUNITY TO BUY AND SELL POTTERY FROM OTHER MEMBERS AND A COMMEMORATIVE PIECE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. THE SUMMER CONVENTION DRAWS AROUND 1600 PEOPLE AND THE MID WINTER CONVENTION DRAWS AROUND 350.
