THE ROWING CLUB OPERATES FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS.

THE CLUB PROVIDES A BOATHOUSE, DOCKAGE, AND VARIOUS ROWING EQUIPMENT FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS. THE FACILITY IS A CENTRALIZED LOCATION TO PROVIDE ORGANIZED TRAINING AND ALLOW FOR SOCIALIZATION BETWEEN CLUB MEMBERS.


THE CLUB HOSTS AN ANNUAL REGATTA FOR ITS MEMBERS AND OTHER INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS AND CLUBS. THE DRC INTERNATIONAL REGATTA IS AN US ROWING CERTIFIED AND CLASSIC ROWING EVENT WITH 29 2,000-METER EVENTS FOR BOTH MEN AND WOMEN. THE CLUB ALSO HOSTS THE DEATH ROW REGATTA, TAKING PLACE IN THE FALL OF THE YEAR. THE CLUB ALSO PARTICIPATES IN OTHER ROWING COMPETITIONS AND EVENTS.


A JUNIOR ROWING PROGRAM EXISTS TO TRAIN YOUTH AND NEW MEMBERS TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF ROWING AND CLUB MEMBERSHIP. THERE ARE ABOUT 100 PARTICIPANTS, AND A TOTAL OF 150 MEMBERS.
