WE ARE A STATE-OF-THE-ART, COMMUNITY-SUPPORTED, AQUATIC FACILITY COMMITTED TO EXCELLENCE IN PROGRAMMING THAT IMPROVES THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT FOR PEOPLE IN THE BURLINGTON COMMUNITY AND SURROUNDING AREAS AT A REASONABLE COST FOR ALL AGES, ABILITIES AND BACKGROUNDS. OUR MISSION IS TO CREATE A SENSE OF COMMUNITY, ENHANCE NEIGHBORHOODS, STRENGTHEN FAMILIES, AND PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES THROUGH PHYSICAL FITNESS, FAMILY RECREATION AND WATER SAFETY AWARENESS.

Part 3 - Line 4a

PROVIDED AREA RESIDENTS WITH HEALTHY, ENJOYABLE AQUATIC EXPERIENCE IN A SAFE AND FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT. SERVICES INCLUDED SWIM LESSONS, WATER AEROBICS AND SWIM CLUBS. THE FACILITIES WERE USED FOR LIFEGUARD AND WATER RESCUE TRAINING. THE CENTER EMPLOYED AND TRAINED OVER 80 PERSONNEL, MANY WHICH WERE YOUTH.
