SWIM MEETS - SANCTIONED, APPROVED OR OBSERVED 197 SWIM MEETS IN THE MINNESOTA SWIMMING COMMITTEE (LSC) TERRITORY AND CENTRAL ZONE OF USA SWIMMING FOR 7,853 ATHLETE MEMBERS. THESE COMPETITIONS TOTALED OVER 197,325 INDIVIDUAL SWIMS AND 6,695 RELAYS. TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FROM USA SWIMMING WERE ALSO SUPPORTED SO VOLUNTEERS WOULD BE MORE PROFICIENT IN CONDUCTING SWIM MEETS.
NATIONAL TRAVEL - SUPPORT TO SWIM CLUBS WITH MEMBERS WHO QUALIFIED AND COMPETED IN NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITIONS IN ORDER TO INSPIRE EXCELLENCE IN THE SPORT. CLUBS RECEIVED SUPPORT FOR 136 MEMBERS COMPETING IN 11 NATIONAL MEETS.
