NEW SALEM YOUTH PROGRAM DEALS WITH PROMITING POSITIVE SELF AWARENESS AND EMPOWERMENT WITH OUR DEDICATED MENTORS. PREPARING OUR YOUTHS WITH THE ABILITY TO CREATE THRU EXPRESSION AND GET A UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR SPIRITUALITY AND IDENTIFYING THEIR BEST IN THEIR JOURNEY.
NEW SALEM CHURCH HAS PARTNERED WITH 21 DAYS OF PEACE CAMPAIGN IN A EFFORT TO PLACE A COMMUNITY EFFORT TO PATROL THE "HOTSPOTS" CRIME AREA THIS CAMPAIGN WAS SPEARHEADED AND MORE URGENT WITH THE SHOOTINGS IN THE COMMUNITY OF CHILDREN. THIS IS ALSO TO CREATED A PRESENCE, PRAYER TO OFFER RESOUCES FOR THOSE IN NEED. THIS CAMPAIGN IS TO ALSO PROVIDE AN OPTION TO MOVE FORWARD FROM PAIN TO PURPOSE.
NEW SALEM EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES IS OUR TUTORING PROGRAM THAT BEING SERVING THE COMMUNITY OF THE TWIN CITIES FOR OVER 29 YEAR. PROGRAM DIRECTOR, GARY DAVISION HAS BEEN DEDICATED IN GIVING STUDENTS THE PROPER UNDERSTANDING OF EDUCATION AND MEETING THE REQUIRE MN BASIC COMPETENCY SKILLS EXAM. OUR TUESDAY TUTORING PROGRAM GIVE CHILDREN AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET INDIVIDUAL ASSISTANT WITH THEIR HOMEWORK, HELPING ADULTS ATTAIN THEIR GED, AND PREPARING THE YOUTH FOR COLLEGE.
