MEMBERSHIP SERVICES: BENEFITS PROVIDED TO OVER 2,300 MINNESOTA MEMBERS OF THE ARCHITECTURE PROFESSION THROUGH EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH THE OPERATION OF THE ASSOCIATION AND ITS PROGRAMS. THESE SERVICES INCLUDE THE WORK OF THE ASSOCIATION BOARD OF DIRECTORS, PROGRAMS, SEMINARS AND EVENTS FOR NETWORKING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION, PUBLIC OUTREACH TO BRING ATTENTION TO THE WORK OF ARCHITECTS AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNERS, AND GOVERNMENT ADVOCACY TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF THE PROFESSION AND TO CREATE A BETTER BUILT ENVIRONMENT FOR PEOPLE AND THE PLANET.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS A VARIETY OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR THAT ARE DESIGNED TO STIMULATE CREATIVE THINKING ABOUT THE DESIGN INDUSTRY AND TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT CHANGES IN APPROACHES, TECHNOLOGIES, AND CODES WHICH DIRECTLY APPLY TO ARCHITECTURE. THESE PROGRAMS ARE OPERATED AND FUNDED BY THE ASSOCIATION AND, ON OCCASION, ARE SPONSORED BY OUTSIDE PARTIES. ALL OF THESE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE MEMBERSHIP AND RELATED PROFESSIONS.CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O. IN ADDITION, HELD EACH YEAR IN THE FALL, THE ASSOCIATION'S ANNUAL CONFERENCE INCLUDES A PRODUCT EXHIBITION AND CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS, WHICH ARE DESIGNED TO BENEFIT THE MEMBERS AS WELL AS THOSE INVOLVED IN OR INTERESTED IN THE ARCHITECTURE PROFESSION.
DIGITAL AND PRINT ANNUAL "ENTER" MAGAZINE (FORMERLY ARCHITECTURE MINNESOTA MAGAZINE): THE ASSOCIATION PUBLISHES THE DIGITAL PUBLICATION AND PRINT ANNUAL TITLED "ENTER" AS A PUBLIC RELATIONS TOOL FOR ALL MINNESOTA ARCHITECTS AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNERS. IT IS DISTRIBUTED TO DECISION-MAKERS IN THE PRIVATE, PUBLIC, NONPROFIT, AND PHILANTHROPIC SECTORS IN ORDER TO EDUCATE ON THE FIELD OF ARCHITECTURE AND TO PROMOTE MINNESOTA ARCHITECTS AND ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNERS FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION IN DESIGN WORK. THE MAGAZINE SELLS ADVERTISING TO COMPANIES THAT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEIR PRODUCTS BETTER KNOWN TO MINNESOTA ARCHITECTS, ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNERS, AND OTHER READERS OF ENTER.
