A PATRIOTIC VETERANS ORGANIZATION DEVOTED TO MUTUAL HELPFULNESS. COMMITTMENT TO MENTORING AND SPONSORSHIP OF YOUTH PROGRAMS IN THE COMMUNITY. ADVOCATES PATRIOTISM AND HONOR AND PROMOTES STRONG NATIONAL SECURITY. DEVOTION TO FELLOW SERVICEMEMBERS AND VETERANS.

PROVIDED A PLACE FOR VETERANS TO MEET AND SOCIALIZE. SUPPORTED MANY VETERANS PROGRAMS INCLUDING HONOR GUARD ACTIVITIES. SERVED OVER 505 LOCAL VETERANS. PUBLISHED A NEWSLETTER FOR VETERANS. ENCOURAGED PATRIOTISM BY PURCHASE OF FLAGS WHICH ARE PROVIDED TO VETERANS AND LOCAL SCHOOLS. ALSO HAS A NATIONAL AMERICAN LEGION RIDERS CHAPTER WHICH SUPPORTS ALL VETERANS. LEGION RIDER CHAPTER HAS OVER 24 MEMBERS.


PROVIDED FUNDS FOR APPROX 48 YOUTH OF AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL PROGRAM AND DOLLARS FOR YOUTH RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. ALSO SUPPORTED BOYS STATE PROGRAM. LARGEST SUPPORTER OF NEW ULM'S HALLOWEEN PARTY SERVING OVER 1,000 YOUTH.


FUNDS PROVIDED TO LOCAL CHARITIES AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN SUPPORT OF THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY AND ITS RESIDENTS. GRANTS INCLUDED IN MN LAWFUL GAMBLING EXPENDITURES ARE $6,100.
