THE LEGION SUPPORTS NUMEROUS YOUTH ACTIVITIES, SERVICES TO THE VETERANS ADMINISTRATION, FUNDS FOR AREA FOOD SHELVES, AND MANY OTHER COMMUNITY SERVICES. IN 2021, THE LEGION HAD 617 MEMBERS. YOUTH ACTIVITIES INCLUDED: PARTICIPATED IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR AMERICAN EDUCATION WEEK AND OTHER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES. DONATED MANY FLAGS TO SCHOOLS WHEN OLD ONES BECAME UNSERVICEABLE. SPONSORED BOY SCOUT TROOP 20 IN WAITE PARK. PROVIDED HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS. SPONSORED AN ANNUAL KIDS CHRISTMAS PARTY. SPONSORED KIDS TO BOYS' STATE TOURNAMENTS. THE MEMBERS ALSO SPEND MANY HOURS PROVIDING VOLUNTEER SERVICES TO ILL VETERANS AT THE LOCAL VA HOSPITAL. THE LEGION ALSO PROVIDED A GATHERING PLACE WITH FOOD AND BAR AS A MEANS FOR VETERANS TO MEET TO WORK ON ALL AREAS OF THE LEGION'S MISSION.
