THE LEGION IS A VETERAN'S ORGANIZATION THAT SERVES PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES. CURRENTLY THERE ARE ABOUT 360 MEMBERS, BUT OTHER VETERANS IN THE AREA ARE ASLO SERVED BY THIS ORGANIZATION THROUGH VETERAN'S DAY, MEMORIAL DAY, AND OTHER EVENTS HONORING/SERVING THE AREA'S VETERAN'S. AS PART OF THIS SERVICE, THE LEGION HAS AN ACTIVE HONOR GUARD PROGRAM. THE LEGION ALSO OPERATES A CLUB WHERE VETERANS MAY SOCIALIZE.
THE ORGANIZATION'S CHARITABLE GAMBLING FUND SUPPORTS VARIOUS LOCAL COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS WHICH SUPPORT THE AREA'S YOUTH AND RESIDENTS. THE LOCAL LEGION SUMMER BASEBALL PROGRAM IS ONE OF THE SPONSORED PROGRAMS AS PART OF ITS COMMUNITY SUPPORT THE LEGION ALSO FUNDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO THE AREA'S COLLEGE STUDENTS
