THE DOOR COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY STRIVES TO COLLECT, MAINTAIN AND SHARE THE HISTORY AND HERITAGE OF DOOR COUNTY THROUGH PRESERVATION, EDUCATION AND PROGRAMMING.

THE DOOR COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY OWNS AND MAINTAINS HISTORICAL SITES AT HERITAGE VILLAGE AT BIG CREEK, EAGLE BLUFF LIGHTHOUSE, AND THE HANSEN NORWEGIAN HOMESTEAD. IT ALSO MAINTAINS THE DOOR COUNTY ARCHIVES. HISTORICAL SITES ARE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, WITH PROGRAMS OFFERED FOR ADULT AND STUDENT EDUCATION.
