TGRCNM'S RESOURCE CENTER OFFERS DROP-IN SERVICES INCLUDING EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE, FOOD, CLOTHING, COUNSELING, A COMPUTER LAB, ACCESS TO MEDICAL PROVIDERS, LEGAL ASSISTANCE, AND ID DOCUMENT SUPPORT. TGRCNM ALSO OFFERS PEER SUPPORT GROUPS FOR THE TRANSGENDER, NON-BINARY, AND GENDER VARIANT PEOPLE OF NEW MEXICO AND THEIR LOVED ONES. DURING 2021, TGRCNM PROVIDED ON-SITE ASSISTANCE IN ALBUQUERQUE. TGRCNM ALSO PROVIDED VIDEO VISITS AND SUPPORT FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO ARE INCARCERATED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO. DURING 2021, TGRCNM PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 3,690 MEALS AND MORE THAN 500 MONTHLY BUS PASSES. TGRCNM ALSO PROVIDED APPROXIMATELY 456 HOURS OF FACILITATOR-LED SUPPORT GROUPS. IN ADDITION, TGRCNM PROVIDED 172 SESSIONS OF TG101 TRAININGS ACROSS THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO.
TGRCNM OPENED A THRIFT STORE IN 2018 TO PROVIDE JOB SKILL BUILDING AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAMS AND TO CREATE AN ADDITIONAL SOURCE OF FUNDS TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS OF TGRCNM.
TGRCNM OFFERS FREE HIV TESTING AND IS A SYRINGE EXCHANGE SITE. DURING 2021,TGRCNM PROVIDED 232 RAPID HIV TESTS. THROUGH THE SERVICES OF THE SYRINGE EXCHANGE PROGRAM, TGRCNM COLLECTED 713,443 SYRINGES AND DISPERSED 960,833 DURING APPROXIMATELY 3,343 INTERACTIONS. APPROXIMATELY 928 DOSES OF NALOXONE WERE DISTRIBUTED DURING 441 INTERACTIONS IN 2021.
