MISSISSIPPI VALLEY CONSERVANCY IS DEDICATED TO CONSERVING NATIVE AND WORKING LANDSCAPES THAT ENRICH OUR COMMUNITIES, THROUGH PRIVATE, VOLUNTARY ACTION, FOR THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CURRENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS IN SOUTHWESTERN WISCONSIN.

LAND MANAGEMENT AND PROTECTION SERVICES USING VOLUNTARY TOOLS SUCH AS CONSERVATION EASEMENTS, LAND PURCHASES, LAND DONATIONS, AND COOPERATIVE ACQUISITIONS TO PROTECT LANDS FOR THEIR ECOLOGY, SCENIC BEAUTY, OUTDOOR RECREATION POTENTIAL, AND PRIME AGRICULTURAL SOILS. THE CONSERVANCY ALSO WORKS HARD TO RESTORE NATIVE NATURAL COMMUNITIES BY REMOVING INVASIVE SPECIES AND CONDUCTING PRESCRIBED BURNS.MISSISSIPPI VALLEY CONSERVANCY HAS PROTECTED MORE THAN 25,066 ACRES OF WILDLIFE HABITAT, RARE NATURAL COMMUNITIES, AND WORKING FARMS SINCE ITS FOUNDING.
