PROVIDE A FORUM FOR THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, MANAGEMENT AND PROMOTION OF SPECIAL EVENTS AND FESTIVALS FOR THE WISCONSIN DELLS AREA. PROMOTE THE COMMON BUSINESS INTERESTS OF THE PARTNERS OF THE WISCONSIN DELLS VISITOR & CONVENTION BUREAU, INC.

Part 3 - Line 4a

AUTOMOTION IS AN ANNUAL CLASSIC CAR SHOW THAT USUALLY DRAWS NEARLY 50,000 PEOPLE TO THE AREA FOR THE TWO-DAY EVENT FEATURING A CAR CRUISE, CAR CORRAL, SWAP MEET, LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, AND FOOD/BEVERAGE CONCESSIONS. THE EVENT IS POSITIONED TO KICK OFF THE SUMMER SEASON IN WISCONSIN DELLS.NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS:- IN 2022, APPROXIMATELY 700 CARS WERE ON DISPLAY ON SATURDAY, 300 CARS WERE ON DISPLAY ON SUNDAY AND 200 SWAP BOOTHS WERE ON SITE.- NORMAL ATTENDANCE IS ESTIMATED UP TO 50,000 OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEKEND.- INCREASED ECONOMIC IMPACT TO AREA AND BUSINESSES DUE TO EVENT ATTENDANCE.


DELLS ON TAP WEEKEND - WISCONSIN DELLS ON TAP AND DELLS CRAFT BEER WALK ARE ANNUAL EVENTS CELEBRATING BREWERS AND FALL IN WISCONSIN DELLS. BOTH BEER TASTING EVENTS GROW IN ATTENDANCE EVERY YEAR AND RESULT IN AN INCREASED ECONOMIC IMPACT TO THE AREA.NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS:- IN 2022, 2,023 DELLS ON TAP (SATURDAY) TICKETS WERE SOLD AND 530 CRAFT BEER WALK (FRIDAY NIGHT) TICKETS WERE SOLD.- IN 2022, APPROXIMATELY 79% OF VISITORS STAY OVERNIGHT AT LEAST ONE NIGHT OF THOSE STAYING OVERNIGHT, 50% STAY MULTIPLE NIGHTS.- THE EVENT HAS AN ECONOMIC IMPACT OF APPROXIMATELY $1.3 MILLION ACCORDING TO CHAMBERLAIN RESEARCH CONSULTANTS. - RESEARCH SHOWS MOST EVENT VISITORS PLAN MONTHS IN ADVANCE TO ATTEND FESTIVALS FOR THE ENTERTAINMENT VALUE AND MORE OFTEN WITH LARGER TRAVEL PARTIES.


DOWNTOWN DELLS EVENT MANAGEMENT - WISCONSIN DELLS FESTIVALS SUPPORTS THE CITY OF WISCONSIN DELLS AND DOWNTOWN DELLS BUSINESSES BY ASSISTING WITH COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT OF A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT EVENTS LOCATED DOWNTOWN DELLS WITH THE INTENTION TO INCREASE VISITOR TRAFFIC DOWNTOWN AND IN THE WISCONSIN DELLS AREA. NOTABLE ACHIEVEMENTS:- SPRING WINE WALK 800 TICKETS SOLD- FALL WINE WALK 687 TICKETS SOLD- OTHER EVENTS LIKE, EGGSTRAVAGANZA, THIRSTY SHAMROCK RUN, THIRSTY SHAMROCK PUB CRAWL (116 TICKETS), FARMER'S MARKET (12-15 VENDORS PER WEEK), JULY 4TH ENTERTAINMENT, TRICK OR TREAT EVENT, HOLIDAY TREE OF LIGHTS, UGLY SWEATER PUB CRAWL (88 TICKETS) AND ELF ON THE SHELF ARE OTHER EXAMPLES OF EVENTS MANAGED BY WISCONSIN DELLS FESTIVALS, INC. THAT INCREASES VISITOR TRAFFIC IN DOWNTOWN WISCONSIN DELLS. - INCREASED ECONOMIC IMPACT TO THE AREA AND DOWNTOWN BUSINESSES DUE TO EVENT ATTENDANCE.
