MEDI-SOTA IS A NON-PROFIT CONSORTIUM OF 35 HOSPITALS THAT ARE MEMBERS PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING, PHYSICIAN RECRUITMENT, AND VENDOR CONTRACTING FOR ITS MEMBERSHIP.

MEDI-SOTA CONTRACTS WITH AN INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTOR TO FACILITATE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS/COURSES/CLASSES AS WELL AS OTHER CURRICULUM FOR ALL STAFF WITHIN THE MEMBERSHIP. THESE PROGRAMS PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION UNITS FOR PROFESSIONAL LICENSED AND TECHNICAL/CERTIFIED STAFF ALONG WITH TRUSTEES OF MEMBER FACILITIES.
IT AND OCCUPANCY EXPENSES.
RECRUITING ACTIVITIES ARE PROVIDED AS A MEANS FOR ALL MEMBERS TO RECRUIT JOINTLY BY CONTRACTING WITH ONE COORDINATOR WHO ASSISTS MEMBERS WITH SPECIFIC SEARCHES, RECRUITMENT BACKGROUND CHECKS, REFERENCE CHECKS FOR CANDIDATES TO FILL OPENINGS WITHIN THE MEMBERSHIP.
MISC. EXPENSES ARE USED TO SUPPORT VARIOUS PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. REVENUE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS IS FROM MEMBERS TO PAY FOR THESE MISC. EXPENSES.
