ANNUAL MEETING AND EDUCATION - SIR PROMOTES THE PROFESSION OF INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY BY PROVIDING AN ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING FOR MEMBER AND NONMEMBER PHYSICIANS. OTHER SMALLER, PROCEDURE-SPECIFIC MEETINGS AND EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS ARE ALSO HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
HEALTH POLICY ECONOMICS AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS - SIR TAKES A PROACTIVE ROLE IN PROMOTING HEALTH POLICY AS WELL AS LEGISLATIVE AND RESEARCH ISSUES PERTAINING TO INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY TO KEY POLICY DECISION-MAKERS.
