THE MAJORITY OF WISCONSIN DESIGNER CRAFT COUNCIL'S (WDCC) RESOURCES AND TIME GO INTO ORGANIZING AND PUTTING ON THE MORNING GLORY FINE CRAFT FAIR THAT IS HELD ON THE SECOND WEEKEND IN AUGUST EACH YEAR. THE FAIR IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC FOR THE VIEWING AND SALE OF APPROXIMATELY 130 ARTISTS WORK FROM AROUND THE UNITED STATES.WDCC ALSO PUTS ON THE WINTER GLORY FINE CRAFT SHOW EVERY OTHER YEAR WHICH IS A SIMILAR, BUT SMALLER, INDOOR SHOW ON THE THIRD WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER.WDCC ALSO ORGANIZES WORKSHOPS FOR ARTISTS TO FOCUS ON LEARNING NEW JEWELRY, FIBER, CLAY, ETC. TECHNIQUES.WDCC ORGANIZES STUDIO VISITS THAT TOUR LOCAL GLASSBLOWING, IRON WORKING, QUILTING, CERAMIC, ETC STUDIOS. VISITORS GET TO SEE HOW ARTISTS CREATE THEIR WARES AND MANAGE THEIR BUSINESSES.
