COLUMBUS PRESCHOOL PROVIDES EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-5. COLUMBUS PRESCHOOL OFFERS TWO CLASSES: A PRESCHOOL CLASS FOR CHILDREN AGES 3-4 AND A 4K CLASS FOR CHILDREN AGES 4-5. THE PRESCHOOL CLASS IS FUNDED BY TUITION PAID BY FAMILIES, AND THE 4K CLASS IS FUNDED BY STIPENDS FROM THE COLUMBUS SCHOOL DISTRICT. THE SCHOOL IS A PARENT-RUN COOPERATIVE, MEANING THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS MADE UP OF PARENTS OF STUDENTS IN BOTH CLASSES. THE BOARD OF DIREC- TORS VOTES ON SCHOOL MATTERS, INCLUDING FINANCES, BUILDING AND MAINTEN ANCE ISSUES, TUITION RATES, FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES, ETC.
