PRESCHOOL OF THE ARTS PROVIDES EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN AGES 18 MONTHS TO 7 YEARS. PROGRAM OPTIONS INCLUDE FULL OR HALF-DAY SCHEDULES, AS WELL AS 3- OR 5-DAY SCHEDULES. THE MAKE-UP OF THE CLASSROOMS INCLUDE A MIXED OR SAME-AGE SETTING, INCLUDING SPANISH LANGUAGE CLASSROOMS. PRESCHOOL OF THE ARTS HAS GROWN OVER TIME TO SERVE OVER 210 PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN, WITH A FACULTY AND STAFF OF MORE THAN 60 COMMITTED INDIVIDUALS. PRESCHOOL OF THE ARTS ALSO SERVES AS A LEADER IN THE EARLY CHILDHOOD COMMUNITY, PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TEACHERS ACROSS THE STATE AND THE COUNTRY AS WELL AS CREATING INITIATIVES THAT SUPPORT SOCIAL JUSTICE OUTREACH EFFORTS THAT AFFECT THE GROWTH AND WELL-BEING OF YOUNG CHILDREN IN THE GREATER MADISON COMMUNITY.
