THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF MILWAUKEE IS AN ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN WHOSE MISSION IS TO ADVANCE WOMENS LEADERSHIP FOR MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY IMPACT THROUGH VOLUNTEER ACTION, COLLABORATION, AND TRAINING.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THE ASSOCIATION OF JUNIOR LEAGUES INTERNATIONAL IS AN ORGANIZATION OF WOMEN WHOSE MISSION IS TO ADVANCE WOMENS LEADERSHIP FOR MEANINGFUL COMMUNITY IMPACT THROUGH VOLUNTEER ACTION, COLLABORATION, AND TRAINING.


COMMUNITY THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF MILWAUKEE JLM IS COMMITTED TO RESPONDING TO THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY. JLM HAS IDENTIFIED ITS FOCUS AREAS AS THE EDUCATION, HEALTH AND NUTRITION OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN. IN 2022 JLM FOCUSED ON A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS INCLUDING BIG BROTHER BIG SISTER AND STREET ANGELS. IN THE CURRENT YEAR JLM MADE A 2800 GRANT TO LIFE NAVIGATORS TO EXPAND OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THEIR EXISTING WOMENS GROUP. THE PROJECTS GOAL IS TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES FOR 50 WOMEN WITH DISABILITIES IN 2022 IN THE AREA OF LEADERSHIP, SELF-ADVOCACY TRAINING, COMMUNITY INTEGRATION OUTINGS AND BASIC LIVING NEEDS. JLM ALSO MADE A 7200 GRANT TO CURITIVE CARE NETWORK WHICH WAS USED TO CREATE ANOTHER SENSORY ROOM WHICH WILL BE USED BY OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS AT CURATIVE CARE TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH, FUNCTION AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN WITH A WIDE RANGE OF SENSORY PROCESSING DISORDERS.


JUNIOR LEAGUE SINGERS JLM SINGERS PROVIDE ENTERTAINMENT AND FUN TO NURSING HOMES AND RETIREMENT FACILITIES ACROSS THE MILWAUKEE AREA. THROUGH SONG, THIS GROUP BRINGS SMILES TO SENIORS IN ALL STAGES OF CARE.
