TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS OF INTEREST TO MEMBERS AND TO CREATE EMPOWERING RELATIONSHIPS FOR SENIOR WOMAN LEADERS THAT ENABLE THE NETWORK'S MEMBERS TO CONNECT WITH EACH OTHER FOR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL GROWTH, ADVANCE OUR CIVIC, BUSINESS & PHILANTHROPIC COMMUNITIES, AND INSPIRE THE SUPPORT THE NEXT GENERATION.
WOMAN IN FOREFRONT LUNCHEON (WIFL). THIS IS THE NETWORK'S HALLMARK EVENT. THIS ANNUAL LUNCHEON, OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS ALIKE, FEATURES KEYNOTE SPEAKERS DISCUSSING THEIR EXPERIENCES AND ACHIEVEMENTS. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE WOMEN IN THE FOREFRONT LUNCHEON WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY SCHEDULED FOR JUNE 2020 WAS DELAYED UNTIL OCTOBER 2020 AND HELD VIRTUALLY. THE WOMEN IN THE FOREFRONT LUNCHEON PLANNED FOR JUNE 2021 TOOK PLACE AS SCHEDULED.
THE FUTURE LEADERS PROGRAM OFFERS FEMALE COLLEGE STUDENTS AT LOCAL UNIVERSITIES AN OPPORTUNITY TO GAIN EXPOSURE TO DIFFERENT PROFESSIONAL CAREER PATHS. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO CULTIVATE FUTURE WOMEN LEADERS BY PROVIDING MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES ON CAREERS IN THE FOR-PROFIT AND NON-PROFIT SECTORS AT NETWORK MEMBERS ORGANIZATIONS. DURING THESE VISITS, PARTICIPANTS LEARN ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS SECTOR, INTERACT WITH EMPLOYEES AT ALL LEVELS AND LEARN ABOUT THE SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EDUCATION NECESSARY TO ACHIEVE THEIR FUTURE CAREER GOALS.
