1. THE CHAMBER ENGAGED ITS 750 PLUS MEMBER ORGANIZATIONS IN A VARIETY OF EVENTS SUCH AS THE CHAMBER CHAMPIONS GALA, THE ATHENA LEADERSHIP AWARD LUNCHEON AND THE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SYMPOSIUM. THE CHAMBER ALSO ENGAGED ITS MEMBERSHIP IN A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL EVENTS INCLUDING THE BI-MONTHLY FOCAL POINT SERIES, QUARTERLY EXECUTIVE SERIES AND MONTHLY FIRST FRIDAY FORUMS.2. BECAUSE OUR COUNTY BUSINESSES ARE FACED WITH A SIGNIFICANT NEED FOR NEW EMPLOYEES, THE CHAMBER CONTINUED KEY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES TO ATTRACT, DEVELOP AND RETAIN WORKERS AT ALL LEVELS. THIS INCLUDED COASTAL YOUNG PROFESSIONALS, EXPLORE YOUR FUTURE, WHICH ENGAGED 1,200 SHEBOYGAN COUNTY SOPHOMORES EXPOSING OUR STUDENTS TO THE DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN OUR COUNTY, AND LEADERSHIP SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, A YEAR-LONG LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM. 3. THE CHAMBER ACTIVELY PROMOTES INDIVIDUAL BUSINESSES AND COLLECTIVE BUSINESS EFFORTS THROUGH ITS ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION, SOCIAL MEDIA AND PUBLIC RELATIONS EFFORTS.4.
