TO DEVELOP PROGRAMS AND SERVICES IN THE GREATER SACRAMENTO REGION THAT CREATE OPPORTUNITIES TO EDUCATE CHILDREN AND ADULTS IN THE ART OF THEATER AND RELATED FIELDS, TO ENRICH THE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THE COMMUNITY THROUGH ENHANCED ARTS EXPERIENCES, AND TO PROVIDE ENTERTAINMEN AND ART AWARENESS THROUGH PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY STAGE PERFORMANCES AND EXHIBITS.

IN 2021, RESTRICTIONS DUE TO COVID-19 WERE STARTING TO BE RAISED. THEATRE PRODUCTION & TECHNICAL ACADEMY, INC. WAS ABLE TO PRODUCE MORE SHOWS AND EVENTS THAN IN 2020. THERE WERE SEVERAL ART SHOWS HELD IN THE THEATER TO DISPLAY MIKE JILMENA'S ART AS WELL AS STUDENT ART. WE HAD FOUR YOUTH WORKSHOPS OVER THE YEAR: SWEENEY TODD: THE SCHOOL EDITION, RENT: SCHOOL EDITION, THE YOUNG PEOPLE'S SUMMER WORKSHOP (ARISTOCATS, KIDS), AND THE MASTER MUSICAL WORKSHOP (PETER PAN, JR.). MOST OF THE WORKSHOPS HAD TO REHEARSE AND PERFORM OUTDOORS DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS. WE ASLO CONTINUED THE ANNUAL PERFORMING & FINE ARTS WORKSHOP IN THE SUMMER. HOLIDAY IN THE HILLS, A TPTA CLASSIC, WAS PERFORMED OUTDOORS, WHICH WAS A HIT IN HISTORIC FOLSOM.
