ROGERSON TWO ROOM SCHOOL HOUSE IS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION WHICH OWNS A 1916 SCHOOL HOUSE IN A SMALL UNDERSERVED COMMUNITY OF ROGERSON, IDAHO. THE NON PROFIT HAS BEEN RENOVATING THE OLD SCHOOL BUILDING WHICH WILL BE USED AS A COMMUNITY CENTER AND PRESERVATION TWIN FALLS CONTRIBUTED $11,970.00 IN 2022 TOWARDS THE WORK BEING DONE AND HAS RECEIVED $15,000.00 FROM PASTOOR CHARITABLE TRUST TO CONTINUE AND FINISH THE WORK.AVENUES HISTORICAL DISTRICT WORKED ON CREATING A LOCAL HISTORIC DISTRICT WITH THE HISTORIC PERSERVATION SOCIETY TO PRESENT 309 HOMES INSIDE A NATIONAL DISTRICT SO THE OLDEST PROPERTIES IN TWIN FALLS ARE PROTECTED FROM DEMOLITION.COLLEGE OF SOUTHERN IDAHO IS A LOCAL COLLEGE WITH A HISTORY DEPARTMENT.
