PAC GRANT: CARRIED OUT SEVERAL KEY ACTIVITIES OF THE KALAMAZOO RIVER WATERSHED PUBLIC ADVISORY COUNCIL (PAC), INCLUDING CONTINUING MONTHLY MEETINGS, PUBLIC COMMUNICATIONS, INTERACTIONS WITH FEDERAL/STATE AGENCIES INVOLVED IN PCB REMEDIATION; MAINTAINING AND UPDATING THE PAC WEBSITE, AND COORDINATING AND IMPLEMENTING A NEW KRWC MEMBERSHIP BASE AND ANNUAL MEETINGS TO KEEP THE GENERAL PUBLIC ENGAGED AND INFORMED.
WATERSHED SUPPORT GRANT: PURCHASED EDUCATIONAL WATER QUALITY EQUIPMENT, PRODUCED A QUALITY ASSURANCE PROJECT PLAN FOR COMMUNITY MEMBER-BASED WATER QUALITY MONITORING, COMPLETED A FINANCIAL AUDIT TO INCREASE THE POTENTIAL TO COMPETE FOR FUTURE GRANT FUNDING.
