THE ENTERPRISE GROUP WILL BUILD AND SUSTAIN A VIBRANT, DIVERSIFIED ECONOMY, THEREBY IMPROVING JACKSON'S QUALITY OF LIFE. THE ENTERPRISE GROUP'S MISSION IS TO HELP ENTREPRENEUERS AND BUSINESSES BREAK GROUND IN JACKSON COUNTY ON A NEW VENTURE OR BRING AND EXPAND A CURRENT OPERATION TO THE AREA.

THE ENTERPRISE GROUP BOARD ADOPTED THE IMAGINE JACKSON 2020 PLAN WITH AN AGGRESSIVE GOAL OF ASSISTING IN THE CREATION OF 1,500 JOBS OVER THE COURSE OF THE FIVE-YEAR PLAN. THE EG REACHED 92% OF OUR FUNDRAISING GOAL AS THE END RESULT. IN 2021, THE JACKSON CHALLENGE 2025 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN WAS LAUNCHED. THE EG STAFF ASSISTED CLIENTS WHO MADE COMMITMENTS TO CREATE 168 NEW JOBS, RETAIN 394 JOBS, AND INVEST 19.2 MILLION IN JACKSON COUNTY.
THROUGH THE PROCUREMENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CENTER, OVER 18.7 MILLION IN FEDERAL AND STATE CONTRACTS WERE AWARDED TO JACKSON COUNTY COMPANIES, WITH 397 JOBS CREATED OR RETAINED.
