SCIENTIFIC/EDUCATIONAL MEETINGS - PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS AND TOPICS, ORTHOPAEDIC PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES (THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC CONVENTION - APPROXIMATELY 92 MEMBERS ATTENDED ALONG WITH OTHER MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS ATTENDING). MEDICAL EXHIBITORS AND MEMBER REGISTRATION FEES SUPPORT THESE EDUCATION PROGRAMS.


LEGISLATIVE ISSUES - OFFICE EXPENSES INCURRED AND CONSULTANTS HIRED TO ADVISE AND ASSIST THE ORGANIZATION AND ITS MEMBERS ON ORTHOPAEDIC RELATED STATUTES, LEGISLATION, AND AGENCY ACTIONS. THE ACTIVITY IS SUPPORTED BY MEMBERS' DUES (72,800).
