THE CORPORATION EXISTS TO PROMOTE THE EDUCATION OF EMERGENCY NURSES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF EMERGENCY NURSING THROUGH EDUCATION AND PUBLIC AWARENESS, AND ADVOCACY.

THE ORGANIZATION OVERSEES TWO FOUR-YEAR CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS, THE TRAUMA NURSE CORE CURRICULUM AND THE EMERGENCY NURSES PEDIATRIC CORE CURRICULUM. THESE COURSES ARE DESIGNED TO PREPARE THE EMERGENCY NURSE WITH THE MOST UP-TO-DATE KNOWLEDGE AND BEST PRACTICES IN EACH FIELD OF STUDY. A TOTAL OF 300 COURSES WERE CONDUCTED BENEFITING 3,198 EMERGENCY NURSES.


THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED 8 DELEGATES TO ATTEND THE LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE IN CHARLESTON, SC HELD 1/26/22 - 1/29/22. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED 2 DELEGATES FROM MICHIGAN TO ATTEND THE DAY ON THE HILL HELD 5/2/22 - 5/4/22. ALSO, 15 MICHIGAN DELEGATES ATTENDED THE NATIONAL ENA CONFERENCE HELD IN DENVER, CO. 9/28/22 - 10/3/22.


THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED THE 2022 MICHIGAN ENA ANNUAL SPRING CONFERENCE HELD 5/3/22 - 5/4/22 TO PROVIDE EDUCATION AND NETWORKING FOR EMERGENCY NURSES, WITH APPROXIMATELY 162 ATTENDEES. AT THE CONFERENCE, EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE GUIDELINES ARE PRESENTED TO PREPARE THE STRETCHER SIDE NURSE FOR THE MOST UP-TO-DATE PRACTICE INFORMATION. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORED CERTIFIED EMERGENCY NURSING PROGRAMS BENEFITING 35 NURSES AND EKG TRAINING PROGRAMS BENEFITING 10 NURSES.
