PICC PROVIDES COMMUNITY LIVING SUPPORT TO ADULTS LIVING IN ANY TYPE OF RESIDENTIAL SETTING. SERVED APPROXIMATELY 190 INDIVIDUALS DURING THE YEAR.
PROGRAM SUPPORT SERVICES REFLECTS INCOME AND EXPENSE ACTIVITY RELATED TO THE MENTAL HEALTH OPERATIONS OF HOPE HOUSE AND FOWLER HOUSE. EXPENSES RELATE TO DIRECT CARE SERVICES OVER AND ABOVE THOSE NORMALLY PROVIDED IN AN ADULT FOSTER CARE HOME, WHICH PROVIDES ROOM, BOARD AND PERSONAL CARE SERVICES ONLY. MENTAL HEALTH (OR SPECIALIZED RESIDENTIAL) SERVICES INCLUDE TRAINING, BEHAVIORAL MANAGEMENT, MEDICAL SUPPORTS AND COMMUNITY INCLUSION. ALL SERVICES OVER AND ABOVE THOSE PROVIDED IN REGULAR ADULT FOSTER CARE ARE SUPPORTED BY THE MICHIGAN MENTAL HEALTH CODE.
ADULT FOSTER CARE. THIS PROGRAM PROVIDES FOSTER CARE TO ADULTS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES. THE PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO MEET INDIVIDUALS' PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT GOALS WHILE LIVING IN A GROUP RESIDENTIAL SETTING.
MEYER RESPITE PROGRAM PROVIDES RESPITE CARE, INFORMATION, AND OTHER SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR FAMILIES CARING FOR CHILDREN AND/OR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES OR AGE RELATED CONDITIONS. SERVING APPROXIMATELY 47 INDIVIDUALS.SEYMOUR HOME AND HAMPTON HOME ARE SPECIALIZED AFC HOMES AND SERVED APPROXIMATELY 5 AND 4 PEOPLE RESPECTIVELY.REWARDS IS A SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM THAT HELP PEOPLE LEARN JOB SKILLS. THE PARTICIPANTS EITHER WORK OR VOLUNTEER IN THE COMMUNITY IN INTEGRATED SETTINGS. THE EMPLOYEES WORK FOR COMPETITIVE WAGES. THERE ARE ABOUT 21 PEOPLE EMPLOYED AND ABOUT 65 VOLUNTEERS WORKING AT LOCAL NON-PROFITS WHERE VOLUNTEERING IS A TYPICAL ACTIVITY WITHIN THE ORGANIZATION.
