THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION IS TO GATHER, ORGANIZE, AND DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED THROUGHOUT ANTRIM, CHARLEVOIX, AND EMMET COUNTIES.

MANNA FOOD PROJECT PROCURES AND DISTRIBUTES FOOD AND NON-FOOD ITEMS TO APPROXIMATELY 38 FOOD PANTRIES/AGENCIES IN A TRI-COUNTY AREA OF EMMET, CHARLEVOIX AND ANTRIM COUNTIES. AS A WAREHOUSE, WE DISTRIBUTE FOOD AND SOME NON-FOOD ITEMS TO THESE PANTRIES AND AGENCIES AT A NOMINAL FEE, THEN THE PANTRIES AND AGENCIES PROVIDE FOOD TO CLIENTS AT NO CHARGE. DURING THE YEAR, WELL OVER 28,000 FAMILIES WERE SERVED WITH THE FOOD RECEIVED FROM THE WAREHOUSE BY THESE AGENCIES. AS A FOOD PANTRY, MANNA PROVIDES FOOD TO CLIENTS AT NO CHARGE. NO AMOUNTS HAVE BEEN REFLECTED IN THE STATEMENTS FOR DONATED SERVICES INASMUCH AS NO OBJECTIVE BASIS IS AVAILABLE TO MEASURE THE VALUE OF SUCH SERVICES. HOWEVER, A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF VOLUNTEERS HAVE DONATED TIME.
