PUBLICATION OF THE JOURNAL OF GREAT LAKES RESEARCH, WHICH IS THE PRIMARY VEHICLE FOR DISSEMINATION OF RESEARCH RESULTS REGARDING THE LARGE LAKES OF THE WORLD.
ALTERNATING BETWEEN CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES, IAGLR CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON GREAT LAKES RESEARCH. HELD SINCE 1953 AND ATTENDED BY HUNDRES OF SCIENTISTS AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS FROM A WIDE VARIETY OF DISCIPLINES, THIS FLAGSHIP EVENT PROVIDES FOR THE TIMELY EXCHANGE OF SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION AND PRESENTATION OF IMPORTANT ISSUES.
STATE OF LAKE CONFERENCE - THE CONFERENCE FACILITATES INTERACTIONS BETWEEN RESEARCHERS AND MANAGERS ON DIVERSE TOPICS RELATED TO ISSUES RELEVANT FOR A SPECIFIC LAKE. THE CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER LAKE-SPECIFIC RESEARCH, POLICY DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT, EDUCATION, AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO BROADEN THE DISCUSSION AND PROVIDE DIVERSE INTERACTION AMONG STAKEHOLDERS.
