DONATIONS WERE MADE TO THE DETROIT INSTITUTE FOR CHILDREN WHICH IS A NON-PROFIT AGENCY THAT SERVES OVER 5,000 SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN SCHOOLS, HEAD START, AND EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMS IN THE DETROIT AND SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN AREAS. THE ASSOCIATIONS DONATIONS ASSISTED WITH SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY, OCCUPATIONAL AND PHYSICAL THERAPIES, SOCIAL WORK, PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES AND SPECIAL EDUCATION CONSULTING.
