GRANTS - GRANTS MADE TO VICKSBURG COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FOR EDUCATIONAL, LITERARY, AND SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITIES.
SCHOLARSHIPS - AWARDED TO GRADUATING SENIORS OF VICKSBURG COMMUNITY SCHOOLS FOR PURPOSES OF PURSUING HIGHER EDUCATION. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE FUNDED THROUGH A COMBINATION OF GRANTS FROM THE VICKSBURG FOUNDATION AND TRANSFERS FROM ENDOWMENTS HELD BY THE KALAMAZOO COMMUNITY FOUNDATION. THERE IS A COMPETITIVE APPLICATION PROCESS AND SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED BASED ON THE CRITERIA ESTABLISHED BY ENDOWMENT DONORS AT THE TIME EACH ENDOWMENT WAS ESTABLISHED. THIRTY SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED DURING THE YEAR.
