THE MISSION OF THUNDER BAY THEATRE IS TO PROVIDE A YEAR-ROUND SCHEDULE OF PORGRAMS, INCLUDING MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS, EDUCATIONAL SHOWS AND THEATRE WORKSHOPS.

YEAR-ROUND MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS FOR ADULT AND YOUTH, EDUCATIONAL SHOWS, AND THEATRE WORKSHOPS. GENERALLY SPEAKING, TOTAL ATTENDANCE IS IN EXCESS OF 10,000 ANNUALLY. HOWEVER, DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, THE PRODUCTIONS WERE INTERRUPTED, THEN THE ORGANIZATION SUFFERED A LOSS DUE TO FIRE. AN ATTACHED BUILDING CAUGHT FIRE AND THE THEATRE BUILDING SUSTAINED FIRE AND WATER DAMAGE. THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS IS IN THE PROCESS OF DISCERNING THE FUTURE OF THE THEATRE PROGRAM AND THE BUILDING. THE PHYSICAL LOSS AND DAMAGE IS SUBSTANTIALLY COVERED BY INSURANCE.
