TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A MISSION PROJECT IN ARMENIA TO PROVIDE A PARTNERSHIP MINISTRY WITH THE ARMENIAN APOSTOLIC CHURCH TO PROVIDE HUMANITARIAN AID IN ARMENIA, KARABAKH, AND OTHER REGIONS OF THE CAUCASUS.

ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET: FUNDS ARE PROVIDED EACH YEAR TO MAINTAIN A STAFF, OFFICES, WAREHOUSES, AND VEHICLES TO SUPPORT THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION IN ARMENIA. IN 2022, SALARIES, PAYROLL TAXES AND BENEFITS OF $59,142 WERE PROVIDED FOR A STAFF OF (7) PEOPLE. ALL OTHER EXPENSES OF $60,681 PROVIDED FOR THE RENT OF OFFICES IN VAYK AND YEREVAN, A WAREHOUSE IN YEREVAN, UTILITIES, TELEPHONE, SUPPLIES, REPAIRS, AND MAINTENANCE OF (3) VEHICLES.
GRANT FOR VOCATIONAL SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION: IN DECEMBER OF 2022 A GRANT OF $25,000 WAS PROVIDED TO BEGIN CONSTRUCTION OF A STANDALONE VOCATIONAL BUILDING ON THE PROPERTY AT THE AGAPE CENTER IN VAYK. ACTUAL CONSTRUCTION STARTED IN EARLY 2023 AFTER ALL PERMITTING AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT ALLOWANCES WERE GRANTED. ADDITION OF A SEPARATE BUILDING FOR VOCATIONAL TRAINING WILL ENABLE PROJECT AGAPE TO APPROPRIATELY RESPOND TO THE GROWING DEMAND TO PROVIDE VOCATIONAL AND TECHNICAL SKILLS TRAINING TO YOUNG ADULTS FROM DISPLACED FAMILIES.
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS: GRANT FUNDS OF $11,875 WERE PROVIDED FOR THE FLOOR, A/C UNIT, AND BRICK MASON LABOR FOR A BUILDING/WAREHOUSE ADDITION AT THE AGAPE CENTER IN VAYK. $3,542 OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS WERE PROVIDED AND USED TO MAKE NECESSARY REPAIRS AND MODIFICATIONS TO THE RENTED WAREHOUSE SPACE IN YEREVAN. EXPANDING AND MAINTAINING THESE FACILITIES IS NECESSARY TO SUPPORT THE GROWING DEMAND FOR HUMANITARIAN AID TO DISPLACED FAMILIES IN THE REGION.
