NEW PROGRAM GROWTH - THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR RESEARCHES NEW PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT IDEAS AND PARTICIPATES IN DISCUSSION WITH THE PROGRAM COMMITTEE ABOUT NEW PROGRAM INITIATIVES. NEVADA CASA RECEIVED AN ARPA FEDERAL GRANT AWARD TO SUPPORT THE COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT CAMPAIGN WHICH IS ENHANCING STAFFING LEVELS TO ADDRESS THE NEEDS OF NEGLECTED AND ABUSED CHILDREN BY SUPPORTING AND EXPANDING THE CAPACITY OF LOCAL NEVADA CASA PROGRAMS. TWO LOCAL PROGRAMS RECEIVED SUBGRANTS IN FISCAL YEAR 2023 AS A RESULT OF THIS NEW FUNDING.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE EXPANDING COMMUNITY AWARENESS. IN THE PAST YEAR, NEVADA CASA UTILIZED SOCIAL MEDIA, WEBSITE MESSAGING AND THE DISTRIBUTION OF PRINTED MATERIAL TO EXPAND COMMUNITY AWARENESS. ADDITIONALLY, OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES INCLUDE BOARD DEVELOPMENT
TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND PROGRAM SUPPORT - THE STATE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS AND PROMOTES STATEWIDE COMMUNICATION, RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT, PROGRAM ENRICHMENT, AND VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT. THIS ALLOWS LOCAL PROGRAMS TO PROVIDE VITAL TRAININGS, COMMUNICATIONS, AND ADVOCACY FOR THEIR VOLUNTEERS AND DONORS.
