TO BE A TRAUMA-INFORMED ENVIRONMENT WHERE PARTNERS COLLABORATIVELY INVESTIGATE CHILD ABUSE, FAMILIES RECEIVE SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, THE CHILD'S WORDS ARE ALWAYS HEARD.

LAKESHORE REGIONAL CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER (LRCAC) SERVES FAMILIES IMPACTED BY ABUSE, NEGLECT, AND FAMILY VIOLENCE THROUGH OFFERING COLLABORATIVE INTERVENTIONS INCLUDING RECORDED FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, MEDICAL EXAMS, AND ADVOCACY. OVER 514 CHILDREN, TEENS, AND VULNERABLE ADULTS WERE SEEN LAST YEAR FOR FORENSIC INTERVIEWS, AND 109 CHILDREN WERE SEEN FOR MEDICAL EXAMS. EACH FAMILY WAS OFFERED ADVOCACY SUPPORT. THE SERVICES PROVIDED BY LRCAC ARE ONE PROGRAM OF WRAP-AROUND SERVICES, SO THE TOTAL EXPENSES ARE THE TOTAL AGENCY EXPENSES FOR THE YEAR.
